ABOUT WARREN KING
Brought up in Belfast during the Troubles, I was taught to draw from an early age by my cousin, a tutor at Queens University.
After moving to England, as a teenager I studied Graphic Design at Medway Art School in Kent AND BECAME A FULL-TIME ARTIST IN 2016.
BASED IN WEST LONDON, MY WORK CAN BE VIEWED BY APPOINTMENT IN MY STUDIO.
Awards & Recognitions

Warren was awarded a solo exhibition at exclusive clothing store Pringle of Scotland in Mayfair, which ran from Feb 3 - Feb 28.
His final exhibition of the year was his solo show Martyrs at The Lauderdale Gallery in Maida Vale during the summer of 2022.

King was one of the recipients of the Turner Open Call Prize for his painting Woman With A New Hat - which was part of an exhibition at the Turner Gallery in Margate from October 23 - 28 February 2022.
From October 23rd 2021 Warren had 5 portrait paintings on show for the group exhibition in Denver, Colorado run by Artemesia Gallery which lasted until January 15th.

Warren was shortlisted for the New Emergence Art Prize for his painting Inside Out III.

Warren was shortlisted for the Emerge art prize and his painting Cactus appeared on the front cover of Issue 5 of Artit Magazine.
